"When I started my first Body for Life challenge in October 2002 I was in quite a bad way. I had been depressed and drinking very heavily, I was unmotivated, suffered crippling OOS and had misplaced my sense of humour. I knew I had to do something and the Body for Life challenge provided me a structure and a goal. It was very difficult but I followed the program day by day and forgave myself when I frequently 'blew it'. I ended up in the top 2000 for 2002 and this put a zing in my step for some time.
2003 was quite a year. I had a few holdups on the way to my second challenge. There was surgery/recovery :( backpacking in europe :) redundancy/poverty :( a new career :) and then my next challenge completed Dec 27th 2003. I set myself tough goals and achieved them all, partly due to the firm instruction of my BFL PT Brendan Rabbitt, who is a genius.
The most important thing you learn with BFL is to always be aiming for a new level - mentally, physically and even spiritually. By sticking with a challenge and achieving your goals, you will learn a new way to approach life."
Thankyou to all who made this possible
