Hi everyone, as usual I hope this newsletter finds you well, fit and healthy. What a busy time of the year we now have ahead of us. I have been wondering where to find the time to fit in everything that I have to do. Most of you who know me would wonder if I have a 26 hour clock. The truth is that just as in diet, and training we must also look at our daily lives and remember the golden rule, EVERYTHING in moderation. Find the time firstly for yourself, whether its for a brisk walk, a quick run , some mediation or a 10 min boxing session, you will find that by maintaining fitness when time is tight will actually help you to cope and deal with everyday stresses a little bit easier. When you find yourself getting busier, DONT stop working out.. and DONT go for the coffee, or chocolate bar either.. that wont make you feel better, only worse. So make an EXECUTIVE decision and go for a quick and effective cardiovascular challenge and feel the stress and anxiety just melt away.

Now for those wondering how I went in the small business awards, Well, I didnt win but I feel more determined to be back bigger and better next year. Ironic though is the business that did win in my catergory of Best New Business.. a take-away Fish and Chips Shop called the Little Red Box. Hmmm. maybe I need to now take all their customers through a 12 week challenge and change their eating habits to win next years prize? QUEENSLANDERS everywhere.. there will be a BFL support group meeting at Forest Lake Fitness Club Cnr of High Street and Forest Lake boulevarde Forest Lake in Brisbane. It will be held on 29th November from 11am. You will meet International Grand champion Brian Traylen, Australian Inspirational Champion Toni Kelly and Myself. I hope to see and meet many people at this, our last offical Queensland meet for the year.

Friends, allow me this month to pay tribute to a remarkable man Ron Ziemiecki founder and CEO of Aussie People Athlete Registry. Ron spends countless hours to managing this business and to the Aussie Athletes who he has a hand in representing. He shows true dedication and commitment and I invite you all to visit the website and share in the dreams of all our Australian Athletes from many different sports who you will find on the registry. Recently Ron was nominated as a finalist for the 2003 NSW Micro Business Awards, and won the category of best personal fitness/sport/ recreation. In a heart felt speech Ron expressed his thanks to the hundreds of Club Secretaries across Australia for their continuing efforts with news and results, and of course, the athletes of Australia who were brave enough and interested enough to promote themselves via the AussiePeople Athlete Registry."

AussiePeople which is in its first year has already amassed an interesting collection of successes, finding sponsorship and work for a wide and varied number of Australian athletes. The Registry is free to all Aussie people and is unique in its concept to promote the true wealth of the nation, being its people. Visit the site and register for free at www.aussiepeople.com.au I would also like to say that Ron has shown Desire Fitness tremendous support and encouragement and I just want to say Thanks Ron.. you really are a champ.
