Hey everyone, welcome to this special edition newsletter. This newsletter is going to include some photos from the recent BFL Night of champions as well as from the Studio opening party for Desire Fitness. Well as stated briefly in my previous newsletter one of my clients, Neil Warburton ended up being crowned as the Australian Male champion in his age catergory. I know first hand that the inner transformation is one that will last Neil a lifetime, but what of YOUR transformation. Are you on track with your goals, do you feel different?...more importantly, are you thinking differently? Do you see yourself as a success or as someone just doing what they can to get there. I believe that there are THREE key points in order to succeed in what we want to achieve, and this doesn't just relate to your health and fitness goals, You can use these key points in ALL areas of your life. Here goes.

Firstly, you have to want to succeed in life. You've got to put that time and effort and energy into it. Look successful, BE successful.
Secondly, you have to develop the know-how, you have to develop the skills, and you've got to prepare yourself physically, mentally, and intellectually. Thirdly, you have to do it. You can have all the opportunities, all the education but without action, nothing is going to happen. BELIEVE IN YOUR ABILITY TO GET IT. Dont wait round, just make the changes today, to bring about the change in your life.


Ingredients
2 kilos small, red Bliss potatoes, halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 salmon fillets, about 4 to 6 ounces each
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper
2 bunches watercress, stems removed
1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped shallots

Cooking Instructions

1. Place the potatoes in a microwave-safe container with a splash of water and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave the potatoes until they are tender, about 7 minutes.
2. In a nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

3. Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Cook the salmon on both sides until it is cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer the salmon to a platter and keep warm.

3. In the same pan, add the watercress and 1/4 cup of the chicken stock and cook for 30 seconds, until the watercress is just wilted. Season the watercress with salt and pepper. Place the watercress in the center of the platter with the salmon.

4. Add the remaining chicken stock, mustard, lemon juice and shallots to the pan, bring to a boil and whisk together.

5. Arrange the potatoes around the platter. Drizzle the mustard mixture over the salmon and potatoes and serve.

How quick and easy is that... and yummo too. Watch out for another quick and easy recipe next month.

Well, being in this fantastic industry, you get to meet and make friends with so many inspirational people. I guess its one of my goals to convince Gennaro Ferra to come back to our shores here in Australia for a workout with me..

Gennaro has successfully trained clients in Europe, Australia and the USA for almost 20 years. He is a Certified Strength and Sports Trainer, Physical Educater (BEd) and NABBA Mr Australia Champion.

In 1989 he was a finalist in The Mr Universe and Mr World in London and Spain and then went on to conduct seminars throuhout Europe and Australasia before working for various health food companies in Australia and making guest appearances on Australian TV and in professional theatre.

In 1997 Gennaro made a comeback in NY and LA competing and making the finals in Natural Bodybuildings most prestigious events. Both were great and enjoyable experiences for Gennaro as he pathed the way for other Natural Bodybuilders to follow.


He has appeared in numerous lifestyle and fitness magazines around the globe and continues to model and write articles on nutrition and exercise and their many great benefits.

Over the years Gennaro has devised his own very unique instinctual style of fitness training that focuses on continual variety, precise technique, progressive overload and optimal nutrition.

He was born in Naples, grew up in Melbourne and now lives in NYC with his two beautiful girls Sondra and Stella.
