Kim
Cantergiani is a 2001 Body-for-LIFE Grand Champion living
life in Texas as a Personal Trainer and owner of BodyWorks
Fitness Studio. She is the single mother of six children
(2 are now adults!), formerly weighed 191 lbs and wore a size
22 pants. In addition to her training career, Kim travels
as a motivational speaker and is currently finalizing her
book and offers the following words of guidance~
"I
am constantly mesmerized by the tremendous impact of conscious
planning and goal-setting in my life and the lives of others.
During the BFL Challenge, I naively used many techniques without
realizing I was doing so, and that experience has propelled
me into a perpetual cycle of learning everything I can on
the subject and attempting a variety of methods and strategies.
Without
reservation I can say with 100% assuredness that every single
individual who decides precisely what they want, makes an
honest assessment of where they are currently, devises a reasonable
plan to get there, and exhibits unwavering persistence and
commitment to their desired outcome ALWAYS experiences not
only the achievement of their goal, but witnesses miracles
constantly throughout the process.
I
say-
1.
Write it down! Start with "I AM" statements, make
them positive and as though they are in the present tense.
2.
Read it often! Read it aloud-with emotion and conviction (whether
you feel like it or not)!
3.
Re-write it in your own handwriting as often as possible.
4.
Plan appropriately!
5.
Determine your obstacles and navigate around them!
6.
Be willing to pay the price!
7.
Visualize the attainment of your goal (what will it feel like,
smell like, sound like, look like?)!
I
tell my clients: I never said it would be easy-I only said
it would be worth it!
